The first festival to be held in southern Morocco, the International Festival of Travelers for 15 years was an international reference in terms of cultural diversity and openness to the world.
The International Bedouin Festival is an outdoor festival and festival for citizens and art.
Art is presented in all its forms: crafts, painting, fabric ... but also - and most importantly - music, songs and dances, performed by artists (local, national and international) are invited to come on stage.
During these three days, conferences, round tables and workshops will be organized on different topics (Bedouin, heritage, environmental protection, economy, education, music, etc.).
Cooking will result in competition from the Mella sandwiches, one of the main preparations in the desert. This sport will not outweigh the demonstrations of hockey suit and camel racing.
On an economic level, the festival brings more materials into the daily lives of the local population, greatly improving their living conditions.
At the social level, the festival unites the creation of spaces for training, networking and exchange of ideas and experiences among different actors.
It is a catalyst for craftsmen and young people who have strong ties with visitors from all over Morocco and abroad to discover and understand the "spirit" of this unique festival. The event is supported by the Zagora Governorate Council, the Ministry of Culture, the Moroccan National Tourist Office, the Orange Foundation and many other partners.
